Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper will be rarer, but they were only available for purchase from the Season 2 Battle Pass.įortnite: Chapter 2 – Season 2 is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. We approach Accident Reconstruction case management and handling in a different sort of way. If Recon Expert does return to the Item Shop, that means that Rogue Agent and Midnight Ops will become the two rarest skins in the game that could still feasibly be sold in the Item Shop. The best thing to do is watch this space and see if Epic do sell Recon Expert as intended. Even if Recon Expert is a rather basic re-styling of a default skin, its rarity means it will almost certainly sell extremely well again.

It could be the rarest skin in the game, so Epic would be unwise to not capitalise on that easy money if they could. Recon Expert, meanwhile, was a skin that appeared only fleetingly in the Item Shop in Fortnite’s earliest days. This doesn’t always mean it’s going to return properly, though: Renegade Raider also had an updated skin not too long ago yet remains exclusive to those who purchased the Season 2 Battle Pass. It was updated in one of the most recent updates, leading to the belief that it would make a grand return. There was precedent for a return of the skin, however. Lucas7yoshi – Fortnite Leaks May 27, 2020 Not sure whos image this is, this basically means the server said "nope, you got old shop" /QQ2rrKK8wN Okay so epic barfed recon expert onto the shop, then nuked it lmao

It would certainly have to be, it’s an incredibly random time of day to add anything new to the Item Shop. This looks like it may have been an error on Epic’s part, them adding it and then quickly removing it upon realising their mistake. Recon Expert was available as a Rare outfit for 1200 V-Bucks, it also having two styles, one with the hat and one without. For a very brief moment on May 27th between 9:15 AM BST and 9:30 AM BST, it showed up again in the Item Shop for some players - and them promptly left. That hasn’t stopped the Fortnite faithful for clamouring for its return to the Item Shop, however. In all honesty, it’s not even that good a skin.

ORIGINAL STORY: Recon Expert is one of the last truly rare skins left in Fortnite, it being around since almost the start and not appearing in the Item Shop in 927 Days – two and a half years. Fortnite Recon ExpertĪre we buying Recon Expert in the Item Shop? No, no we are not. So it looks like Recon Expert is officially and properly back in the Fortnite Item Shop after all.
